“A falling star fell from your heart and landed in my eyes.
I screamed aloud, as it tore through them, and now it’s left me blind.

The stars, the moon, they have all been blown out.
You left me in the dark.
No dawn, no day, I’m always in this twilight.
In the shadow of your heart.

And in the dark, I can hear your heartbeat.
I tried to find the sound.
But then it stopped, and I was in the darkness,
So darkness I became.

I took the stars from my eyes, and then I made a map.
And knew that somehow I could find my way back.
Then I heard your heart beating, you were in the darkness too.
So I stayed in the darkness with you.”

Doubt that the sun doth move;
Doubt truth to be a liar;
But never doubt I love.”

English White Christmas Cake

White Christmas Cake

On a vintage pressed glass cake/ tart plate, thank you for the home baked sweets, Honey

Johnny Carson may had joked that there was one Christmas Cake circulating the world,
If the funny Man {he was a gem, we miss him} had a sweet tooth, I assure he would of loved a piece of this cake!

Thank you for the yummy cake & cookies, the luscious chocolates galore, jelly babies, the loop, the wonderful crafting tools, my lens bag and more, all lovely, but your surprise trip here for Christmas last year took the cake, your presence is the best present, you’re the best sweet, ever and you cook and bake, how lucky can a woman get!
